A: Images should be no more than approx. 200Kb in memory size with a dimension of approx. 9cm W X 10 cm H using a PPI of 200. For Architectural Finishes again using a PPI of 200 the maximum size is 3cm W x 4cm H. Please note that this does vary dependant your printer. |

Q: What do I do if I get the message "This user has already logged on" and this is not the case?
A: You need to call the Alfred Ashley Helpdesk on 0870 871 3003 and a reset code will be issued. This normally only occurs on abnormal termination of the program and is designed to highlight poor equipment that may cause problems in the future. |

Q: What should I do if I get the following message "Database does Not exist. Please contact Alfred Ashley on 0870 871 3003.
A: Please call the helpdesk as instructed. There are two possible reasons for problem, the first is that a mapped drive may not be available, hence please check. Secondly the local path table may be corrupted.
Please download the empty files below and replace the installed ones. On restarting the application you will be asked to reset the path - the default path is "?:\Program Files\VDS\Data" but may be different, dependant on customer requirements. |

VDS - FF&E Interior Design Software - Printing FAQ'sQ: Why when I go to print or print preview a Design Intent with an image, it only prints or shows a small box with the name of the image in it and not the actual image?
A: Virtual Design Studio requires Microsoft Image Editor to be installed. If this is not installed then you will need to call the Ashley Helpdesk on 0870 871 3003 and we will assist in the locating and installation of this module although this will normally be performed on the initial install by the Alfred Ashley installation technician.

Q: Why are there missing specification sheets when I print a specification booklet yet I can see them in the list of specifications or when I select certain specification sheets the wrong information is displayed on screen.
A: When printing please check all ranges are set correctly. If the problems persists then it is likely that there is a duplicate item in your database and you will need to call the Alfred Ashley Helpdesk on 0870 871 3003 so that they can find the duplicate record and delete it. |
